Angus Reid
Angus Reid is a leader in the market research industry with a career spanning over three decades. From 1979 to 2001, he was founder and CEO of the Angus Reid Group. Under his direction, the company grew into one of the largest research enterprises in North America.

From 1979 to 2001 Dr. Reid was founder and CEO of the Angus Reid Group, a marketing research supplier. Under his direction, the company grew into the largest research enterprise in Canada, with North American revenues of $60 million. It was sold to Paris based Ipsos SA in 2000.
Currently, Angus Reid is President and CEO of Angus Reid Consultants, a Vancouver-based marketing and public affairs consultancy. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Liu Institute for the Study of Global Issues.
Angus Reid was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and received his early education in Vancouver. He earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Manitoba, and in 1974 he received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa. A speaker, commentator and author, Dr. Reid has written numerous articles and columns for newspapers and trade journals. In 1996 Doubleday published his Canadian best-seller; Shakedown: How the New Economy is Changing our Lives.
As a consultant, Angus works with a wide range of corporations, government agencies, and special interest groups. In addition, he serves as a member of the advisory board of Nestle Canada, Rick Hansen Enterprises, and Cityfone Communications. Dr. Reid is also chairman of the advisory board of the Canada Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, DC. Among his many philanthropic activities, he directs the Angus Reid Foundation and serves as chair of the CKNW Children's Fund.
Angus has been the recipient of a Canada Council Doctoral Fellowship, the National Health Research Scholar Award, the Davidson Dunton Award for Carleton University's graduate of the year, the Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Services Category), the annual award of distinction from the Canadian Public Affairs Association, and the Marketer of the Year Award from the American Marketing Association. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Manitoba (1996) and Simon Fraser University (2002).
Angus Reid lives in West Vancouver with his wife Margaret.

Andrew's vision and leadership established what Vision Critical is today. Coming from a background of Internet advertising and market research, Andrew started the company in 2000 because he saw the opportunity to use the web as a way to improve market research for both the client and the respondent. Over the last five years the company has become a leader in online research with products like our Panel+ panel management system and Fusion rich media research applications. Today he is the President of Vision Critical and responsible for the day to day operations as well as the sales and development of its Fusion line of products. Andrew has been immersed in interactive development since attending Vancouver Film School in 1995.

During his 15 year career in the software industry, Manuel has demonstrated success in helping companies develop highly innovative systems, and best of breed technological solutions. Prior to joining Vision Critical Manuel was CTO of an online gaming company where he managed a multi-disciplinary team across three countries throughout the full product development cycle. Manuel has a Ph.D in Computing Science from SFU, and was awarded the Dean of Graduate Studies Medal.

Jason brings 13 years of Internet, sales, marketing and operations experience to Vision Critical from a number of leading private and public enterprises. His background includes facilitating a 5 year, $64M online partnership between Coca-Cola and AOL together with the GEM Group of Atlanta, creating a branding and distribution strategy for the world's largest small boat manufacturer, Walker Bay Boats, and the development of advanced mobile gaming opportunities while serving as Vice President, Special Projects at interactive entertainment leader Electronic Arts (EA).
Prior to EA, Jason co-founded and served as, EVP Internet Services at Columbus Group Communications, a leading Interactive and Web Applications agency acquired by telecommunications giant TELUS in 2001. Jason is the recipient of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award by both Ernst and Young and the Business Development Bank of Canada, and is one of Business in Vancouver's Top 40 under 40. He graduated with an honors Commerce degree (Marketing) from the University of British Columbia and studied at the IAG School of Management in Brussels, Belgium.

Before joining the company, he practiced law in the business law group at Bull, Housser & Tupper, one of Vancouver’s oldest and largest law firms. Prior to that, Gord was an associate at a mid-market investment banking firm, where he worked on various corporate finance and advisory mandates, including capital raising assignments, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and fairness opinions in a broad range of industries, including the transportation, high technology, communications, and medical device industries.
Gord has a joint LLB/MBA from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
